PRIVACY POLICY

This says plainly what the app collects, where it lives, who can see it, and how long it's kept.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

No ads. No analytics trackers. No third-party crash-reporting services. No advertising identifiers. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or build profiles of you. There is no tracking to ask App Tracking Transparency about.

The app ships one piece of third-party code: the client library for our own database. Nothing else phones home.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Sweet Streaks uses an account — an email address and a password — so your progress survives a lost phone and so a partner on another phone can see what you choose to share. Your password is stored only as a cryptographic hash; we can't read it. On your device, your sign-in token is kept in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system.

Nobody can find you by name or by email address. The app has no user search. The only way another person can reach you is a six-character invite code that you hand them, and you can reset that code at any time from Settings.

WHAT WE STORE

Your game, essentially:

• Your profile: display name, chosen animal, equipped accessories, points, streak, and your display preferences — the felt and frame of your collection case
• Your settings: your habit reminder time, and the hour your day rolls over
• Your habits — names, icons, point values, and schedules — and which days you completed them
• Your points ledger — the individual events that add up to your total
• Your rewards, claimed coupons, and their status
• Your collection: which gems you've found, how many of each, and any geodes waiting to be opened
• Gem gifts you've sent or received, including any note you attached
• Your relationships: who you're paired with, who your friends are, and who you've blocked
• Notifications between you and your partner or friends — cheers, nudges, gift alerts
• Reports you file about another person, so we can act on them

WHO SEES WHAT

Your partner sees your habits, your daily progress, your collection, and the coupons between you. That's the point of pairing — you agreed to be seen.

Friends see a scoreboard, not a diary. Specifically: your display name, your animal and its accessories, your current streak, your points, and how many gems are in your collection. They never see your habits, your history, your rewards, or anything you've written.

Everyone else sees nothing. There are no public profiles and no directory.

NOTIFICATIONS AND APPLE

When you allow notifications, your device gives us a push token, which we store so we can reach that phone. Notifications are delivered by Apple's Push Notification service, which means the text of a notification — for example, a first name and "cheered you on" — passes through Apple to reach your phone. Notification text never contains a habit name, a gift note, or anything else you've written.

If you don't allow notifications, no token is stored.

CRASHES AND HANGS

If the app crashes or freezes, iOS hands us a diagnostic through Apple's own MetricKit: your device model, your iOS version, the app version, and a stack trace. It's linked to your account so we can tell whether one person hit a bug ten times or ten people hit it once. It contains no habit names, no notes, and nothing you've typed. We don't use a third-party crash service — these go straight to our own database.

HOW LONG WE KEEP THINGS

Your game data stays until you delete it. The operational data expires on its own, automatically, every night:

• Crash and hang diagnostics: 90 days
• Notifications: 30 days after you read one, 90 days if you never do
• Push tokens: 90 days after a device stops checking in

WHERE IT LIVES

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database host, on servers in the United States, with per-account access rules enforced by the database itself rather than only by the app. A copy of your progress also lives on your phone, and inside your normal encrypted device backup, so the app works offline and your history has more than one home.

DELETING YOUR DATA

In the app: Settings → Delete everything. This deletes your account and every row of your data from our servers — habits, history, coupons, gifts, collection, the lot. It's a deletion, not a deactivation, and it takes effect immediately.

One thing worth knowing: if you're paired, deleting your account doesn't delete your partner. Anything shared between you that is theirs to keep — the rewards you wrote for each other, the coupons they're still holding — stays with them. Your own history goes.

CHILDREN

Sweet Streaks is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
